Vegan Pesto! (Dairy-free and great for your health!)
A rich-flavored pesto recipe is useful for many great tasty recipes. This pesto is an important component of many of my culinary creations.

extra virgin olive oil
Use extra virgin cold pressed olive oil for health benefits
Use raw cashews that you grill for a minute or two in a pan without oil
pine nuts (roasted)
Grill a minute or two in a pan without oil as soon as their color gets a golden brownish tint, they’re ready
Peeled and chopped
fresh lemon juice
fleur de sel
Can be substituted by sea salt
Combine the basil, oil, cashews, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, fleur de sel, nutritional yeast and tofu in a mortar if you are using a pestle to grind all of the ingredients. Or, alternatively, a food processor can be used to puree until smooth.
